Round two of the KCF Rally series hit the dirt in the Benarkin State Forest with 24 cars making their way to the finish. Ryan Smart drove his was to the outright win with navigator Nikki Doyle calling the notes. Smart, driving the Fullerton Financial Services Evolution 6, took the victory with over a minute between himself and second place getter Matt van Tuinen and Alan Stean in their Subaru WRX.

Further back in third was team boss Bruce Fullerton and navigator Hugh Reardon-Smith in the second of the Fullerton Financial Services Evolution 6. With these three positions filled that also meant that class P5 had its top three.  First in class P6 was the Steel Blue industrial Footwear VR4 of Ross Cox and Barrie Burr. They finished sixth outright which is a good result for the crew.

The fastest of the two wheel drive cars was Craig and Linda Newell driving their Honda Civic to ninth outright and first in class P2. There was not much separating 12th and 13th which was also for class honors. After the six stages driving a Gemini and only 39seconds between them, Peter Kahler and Peter Stringfellow were able to hold off Chris Wedding and Wayne Jefferies in the Car Trailers by Chris Datsun 1600.

An action packed rally and plenty of fun for all teams involved and all officials helping. Bring on more rallying to Queensland.
